April 12th is Portland's MS Walk For A Cure

 My grandson Keegan, age 7,  saw the ads on TV and announced he wanted to do the 5K walk on behalf of my oldest daughter Ramie, who was diagnosed in 2003 with MS. He is not taking no for an answer, even said he would rather do the walk than have the birthday party his mom was planning for the 12th since his birthday falls on Monday. His mom, my youngest daughter Karina, is walking with him ( and taking a wagon just in case he gets tired, it's a long walk for a little guy). I may have to work the night before so I probably will not be able to go with them.

They got into this pretty late in the game but they are hoping to raise $1000 between them before the 12th.
If anyone is willing to be a sponsor for them, please donate what you can.... you can do a flat rate pledge and pick your amount to be donated. There have been problems getting $5.00 to go, so they may have a $10 minimum. No one has gotten back to me yet about this.
For those who prefer to not put their credit card into the form, you can also paypal it to me using the recipient address theeclecticmuse@yahoo.com, I will withdraw the money from all of the pledges who prefer to do it this way the day before the walk, then get a money order made out to the NMSS and do the payment for you, you do not get a non-profit tax credit this way though. If you cannot do a pledge yourself, please ask your friends to sponsor them.

Keegan dictated the content for his personal page and I sorta polished it for him, that kid cracks me up some days, the things he comes up with... in spite of everything, and all his silliness, in many ways he is an old soul.
