I am the official road debris finder of PDX.... & MS Walk sponsors still needed
So I was all excited about my2 days off in a row.... it never happens, the excitement was a major error on my part. I got stuck on a back road, with a flat tire, in a no cell phone reception area from Saturday night at 9pm until 130pm on Sunday when a nice guy happened by and helped me get the donut onto the van... It was a very chilly night, and uncomfortable. I have decided I really need to keep a blanket and pillow in my van. I could not get the flat tire off since some Hercules driven by a surplus of Testosterone had obviously tightened the lug nuts. Off to Sears, the cheapest place to get a tire on Sunday, trust me, I called everywhere... I had to buy two since the other rear tire was worn and I got a much better price by getting two. So, $100+ I am back on the road. This was my second flat in a week, my third since Xmas. This was the most impressive...a 6 inch nail in the sidewall, not repairable. I am offically out of tires that need replacing, for now.
Living in Portland has netted me several flat tires due to road debris, I think tow companies scatter it to drum up business. I just know this kind of nail finding is NOT freaking normal.
I walked around the mall while they replaced my tires.... a girl in front of me dropped a wad of cash ( over $300) and I chased her down to give it back to her, snotty little thing, not even a thank you. I should have kept it.... it would have made my life easier....of course the bad karma would have not been worth it but still, don't people teach their kids to say thank you anymore? I would have lip locked someone who had saved me from losing that much cash, not that I wanted her to... but a simple thanks would have been nice.
I got home at 330 and promptly fell asleep, waking at 430am.... still exhausted....and hungry. One of my two days off in a row was shot to hell. I am hoping Monday goes better....
My exClinton supporting daughter Ramie sent me a link to a story on Hillary's continued lying:
The lying never ends...
within it is a link to the truth about the hospital story. See, I told you so.
I admire her supporters, it's gotta be tough to stand by her when she is so obviously flawed.
Keegan and Karina are still working on getting sponsors for the MS walk this coming Saturday, Keegan needs to raise another $165 to reach his goal of $700, or $100 for every year he is old. Karina needs to raise another $325 to reach her goal of $500, she is having a hard time keeping up with the cuteness of her 7yo son, and taking it all rather personal. Donations gratefully accepted by both through friday.
Their links again are:
