Portland Oregon fire dancers

I go often, lot's of people in Portland do, the drumming and fire circle happens the first and 3rd Sunday each month under the Hawthorne Bridge. Some people come to drum, some to fire dance and some to watch.... I go to watch, my 5yo grandson dances, till he is exhausted...without fire of course.

I live in Portland and would love to go to this! Could you give me more information? Under what part of the Hawthorne bridge?

It happens on the east side of the river, right under the bridge area, there are some benches and a walkway along the river and underneath the bridge overhang, there is this huge concrete parking lto like area.... after dark, around 7ish, you cannot miss them...I think you can take SE Clay towards the river and land right near where you need to be...but I might be wrong on the street... I travel by visuals, not signs. But it is easy to find them when it is going on. I have been told it is also sometimes going on under the Morrison street bridge.

Do you know if this is still going on? I"m fairly new to the area and would like to go check it out

Not sure, it was only 2 sundays a month, you might ask the person who posted the video on youtube or search there for more portland firedancers videos to see if there are more recent ones.
