So I was sitting at Big O Tires, waiting for my van and Hillary Clinton came on CNN and started lying her hag face off.

Let me clarify here,  I naturally expect Hillary to lie, her mouth WAS moving, so I knew she was going to. BUT this one was over the top. She paced the stage like a cornered lion and out it came, a gut wrenching story of this poor woman who had gotten pregnant and could not afford health care, problems began so she went to her local ER and was turned away and refused treatment because she did not have $100. Problems progressed and she went back, to be refused service again, a week later she went back via ambulance and lost the baby, the mom was so critical she was transported to another facility and eventually died according to Hillary... we CAN NOT let this continue in the US she said, and she will save us from it! The room was filled to the rafters with innocent faced 20-something year old voters, sucking it up like breast milk. OMG.... I lost it.

This is where I went totally mad at Big O Tires and begged them to change the channel....

Basically I have been working in health care since 1971, the EMTALA Act was created in 1986 to make sure that people who needed to be seen and stabilized were not turned away due to inability to pay for services. Dr. Offices do not have to see you without payment, but hospitals do, it's why so many of them file bankruptcy, the financial burden created by this law on hospitals is extreme. "IF" this story were true, we would have heard a story about a hospital's staff seeking unemployment after the hospital closed, not some sad sob story. If a hospital were truly to do what she claimed, not once but 3 separate times, they would lose their Medicare contract, be fined up the yaw-hoo and trust me they would not survive. Maybe she just didn't bother to research the story, maybe she preferred to believe it was true, and settled for hoping it was true, maybe it wasn;t a lie...but I think it was. If it wasn't,  do we want a person who bases their actions on lies without verifying the facts running this country the next 4 years? I sure as hell don't.

The other maddening point about this is how far detached she is from reality. You cannot be seen in ANY emergency room for $100, (sorry Hillary, but to walk in the door it costs the rest of us a minimum of $750, and that is conservative) there are very few doctor offices that will see you for this either, ( first time appointments start at $278 cash to establish as a new patient if you have no insurance). Does this woman who claims to have all the answers not even have a working knowledge of what us pee-ons pay for health care? How is the heck is she going to fix something she clearly knows nothing about?!?

I know I have people on my friend's list who like her, people who also liked her husband... I have to ask, if a person lies this blatantly to get elected how in the hell do you trust them with all that power?

I expect lies in a presidential election, but not screamingly obvious lies of this magnitude, slanderous lies against everyone who works in health care, not Obama. I usually find Hillary mildly amusing but today she crossed the line, my heart was racing and she totally outraged me. If I could have reached her  I would have had her on the ground with her eyes bugging out of her lying face and felt no guilt in doing so. I would love to see the ERs of this country file a class action lawsuit against her for slander, tomorrow would be fine with me. I am quite sure such a lawsuit would amuse Obama no end as well.

Her other notable comment... she is going to take those tax breaks away from companies that are taking jobs from the US and moving them overseas. She might want to discuss this behind closed doors with her hubby since he had a huge hand in it....*cough*

So she is going to fix health care, and schools, lower interest rates and taxes, put an end to corp tax breaks, and fix everything that ills us... and set up funds for this and that and the other thing.... she has not mentioned where all this money is coming from, but I can assure you it is not coming from me. I'll quit my job first before she gets her hands on one dime of my earnings. I'll do it, ask my kids. And I will do my best to organize a country wide work stoppage, one big camp out/taxpayer party, to stop the generation of tax money for her to nab away from the working poor for her budget busting socialist programs.

I feel much better now, thank you for putting up with me.
